Garmin Forerunner 210 GPS Speed and Distance System with Heart Rate
Overall Rating:

Our Review
Garmin Forerunner 210 is a sports watch with GPS functionality, which displays much more data than the 110 model. The unit measures 4.5 x 6.9 x 1.4 cm in dimensions, has a display with 1’’ diameter, 52 x 30 pixels resolution, and is powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, which works for eight hours in training mode and three weeks in power safe mode. The high sensitivity GPS receiver facilitates quick and stable satellite connection, and the Garmin Forerunner 210 comes with heart monitor and food pod (only sold with some versions). The unit is very easy to set up and operate and unlike many similar models, has enough functions that allow it to be used indoors as well as outdoors. Interval training, heart-rate based computations, and Auto Lap functions are available and the watch could be connected to a computer and used with Garmin Connect to share, categorize, and analyze the stored data. The heart rate monitor, which displays the rate as beats per minute, has five different heart rate zones, and an alert, which goes off when the rate is above or below the target. The standard Garmin Forerunner 210 version comes in a box with the Forerunner 210 unit, heart rate monitor, AC charger, charging clip, quick manual, and owner manual on disk, while the Club version includes the same accessories plus the SDM4 Foot Pod. Various other accessories such as cables, mounts, covers, adapters, cases, batteries, sensors, and fitness parts are sold separately as well.
